About Women in Technology
We are committed to increasing the number of women working and achieving in IT – job board, recruitment, events and training courses.
The reputation of your online brand can change at the speed of a mouse click and that silly little error you just did could be flashed around the world within seconds.
In this evening session our speakers will talk about and discuss online messages that spiralled out of control; rumours and actions that led to instantaneous changes in perception; the need to have a 'listening strategy' and a way to measure reputation changes; how to deal with reputation changes appropriately; developing balanced policies for social media use by employees; content ownership; rights to use of social media platforms in the workplace and personal privacy issues.
After the talks there will be a chance for the audience to ask questions and further discuss the topic of effectively managing online brand reputation and perception. It should be an engaging and enlightening evening and we'd love to see as many Urbano members and guests there!
Our speakers are Eileen Brown, CEO of Amastra and Huw Beverley-Smith, Director at Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP who will be speaking for 30 minutes each.
