Urbano Build is an active and important part of our community of connected companies. Very few SMEs have no involvement in the various sectors that make up the Built Environment, from property and real estate, architecture, design and construction, sustainability and the environment, technology and software.

The High Street is evolving from its Georgian origins to retain its relevance to the modern work, repurposing retail spaces in a 'clicks to bricks' marketplace, alongside a changing hospitality sector post-Covid.

John Lewis Partnership's development strategy re-imagines the retail icon's corporate future and its place as a retailer in the modern High Street. It has gained planning approval for its first development in Bromley, which includes areas of home-working, cafés,  community and spaces, along with branded apartments available to rent.

This new approach will be the subject of our October speaker panel breakfast, where Sophie Hine, Head of BTR Operations and Customer Experience at John Lewis, will take us through their corporate journey and their vision as developers and residential landlords.

SMEs have played a critical part in selling their vision to Bromley and we will also hear about opportunities for smaller companies to contribute to realising their development ambitions

As usual, this event will be facilitated by Urbano's Connector-In-Chief Mark Herring and there will be plenty of time to meet and chat with the speaker and other attendees.
