Urbano Top Table networking lunches are a chance for those at the most senior level of our member companies to meet, connect and explore future business opportunities with others at similar levels in their own businesses - all accompanied by two or three course meal at a fine restaurant and a complimentary glass of something chilled.
Urbano supports all small businesses and, as part of our focus on SMEs, we like to support the hospitality sector by hosting our Top Tables at independent restaurants, especially those owned by brilliant chefs.
Run by Emerson Amelio de Oliveira, together with his wife and son, Oliveira Kitchen is one of London’s most innovative vegetarian restaurants. Emerson was born in Rondonia, Brazil, part of the Amazon rainforest and his cooking is plant-based, organic, including the wine list, and 95% vegan.
For those embracing Veganuary after a Christmas of indulgence, plus those who can't imagine a meal without meat, this event is for you.
URBANO EVENT MEAL
(One choice per course)
Forest Floor Calamari (V, GF)
- Wild kaong seeds (the calamari of the forest) in tempura, traditional Japanese rãyu and moroccan preserved lemon (Can be made vegan)
Dulse Cake (V)
- Crunchy cake of cassava and Cornish dulse seaweed served on a silky cream of violino di rugosa squash
Pear and Pecorino Acquerello Risotto
- 12-month aged risotto rice cooked with pear and served in a phyllo pastry casing with pecorino cheese (Plant-based version available)
MAINS
Fillets of Trumpet Royale
- Cooked in madagascan green peppercorn sauce made with our 17-root jus, served with fried cassava and garnishing with salad - vegan version available - gf
Miss Muffet and the Cornish Smuggler, with black truffle
- Two of the best organic British cheeses, cooked with handmade trofie pasta in a artichoke and endives sauce. (Can be made vegan).
Bistecca di Sedano (V, GF)
- Medallions of Italian celeriac, roasted and glazed with our own 17-root demi-glace served with sautéed fig, parsnip & white chocolate mousseline and tender-stem broccoli (Can be made vegan).
DESSERTS
Healthy Decadence (Vg, GF)
- Peruvian chocolate porcelain with salted caramel, vanilla ice cream
Cheesecake of Cupuaçu (Vg, GF)
- Plant-based cheesecake made of cupuaçu fruit from the Brazilian Amazon forest
Black Trufe Crème Brúlée with Porcini Ice Cream (Vg, V)
- Vegan version available.
Plus complimentary glass of wine or soft drink, plus tea or coffee
