Our next Urbano Business/Finance networking breakfast in London takes place on Thursday May 9th and features guest speaker  Simon Dixon, auther of Bank To The Future and CEO of www.banktothefuture.com.

Urbano networking breakfasts give company directors, business owners, entrepreneurs and innovators a chance to network and develop connections, meet potential investors, lenders and advisors and find business advice, support and avenues to finance.

About our speaker, Simon Dixon.

Simon Dixon spent the early part of his professional career in the City of London having experience as a stock broker, trader and investment banker.

Originally trained as an economist, he now spends his time helping entrepreneurs and investors through BankToTheFuture.com, and presents on banking reform and social entrepreneurship.

He is actively involved in campaigning for a fundamental reform of our banking system and has presented at financial institutions such as Bloomberg, ODL, Schroders, the FSSC, Institute For Social Banking, and Man Group.

Simon will look at the new opportunities for business - and investors - to find finance within the changing landscape of banking and investment, exploring new channels such as crowdfunding, peer lending, the new offers through challenger banks, and where these changes may take us in the future.

The focus at any Urbano event is on effective networking, sharing experiences and advice, exchanging information, building connections, and developing future business opportunities.

All Urbano events are open to any company. They are never dry and never dull! The presentations and the networking are personal, warm and informal. Non-members always welcome.
