Bios:

Paul Blanchard is Managing Partner of Right Angles, a consultancy specialising in Public Relations and Digital Media. Established in 2001, and with a team of eight, they work with any businesses from large brand-names to SMEs. The firm works with ACCA, Arup, Aviva, Berwin Leighton Paisner, Compassion in World Farming, GreenPalm, Novo Nordisk, Surgical Innovations PLC, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Truprint to name a few. The firm’s media training division, In The Hotseat, works with many CEOs and senior management. A former parliamentary advisor, Paul has been active in politics for many years. He served 6 years as an elected councillor and stood for Parliament at the 2005 general election, his campaign receiving the largest vote increase in the country. An award-winning campaigner in his own right, he frequently appears in the media, representing clients and campaigns.

Tim Collins is a senior producer on the Jeremy Vine Show, BBC Radio 2's flagship news and current affairs programme. He’s covered some of the biggest stories of recent years – from 9/11, general elections and MPs’ expenses to the phone hacking saga. He’s also overseen outside broadcasts from places as varied as Leeds and Lagos as well as producing political interviews with figures such as Margaret Thatcher, Mikhail Gorbachev, Tony Blair and David Cameron. Before entering the world of journalism, he was a researcher in the House of Commons for Caroline Spelman MP, responsible for all her press and publicity.

Richard Conway started his career as a Parliamentary researcher specialising in defence, after graduating from the University of St Andrews with a Masters in International Relations. From there he entered TV by working on ITV1’s Sunday morning politics show Dimbleby, where he produced interviews with guests such as Tony Blair, President Musharraf and the then US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. Since 2006, Richard has worked for Sky News initially as planning editor for Sunrise with Eamonn Holmes and recently as the specialist sports news producer where he has covered the 2010 South Africa World Cup, the Pakistan cricket scandal and the on-going FIFA crisis.

Alex Singleton has just completed 3 years on the staff of The Daily Telegraph, where he was part of the leader-writing team, and also worked as a contributing editor at The Sunday Telegraph. He has 16 years’ experience writing for newsstand publications,including The Guardian, The Daily Express and a wide range of IT titles – including as a Business Editor for the International Data Group, the world’s largest IT publisher. Alex is a frequent commentator on the TV and radio.
