London networking event - networking evening at The Spectator, City of London

Urbano holds an evening networking event each month which are famously relaxed and informal events, with facilitated networking and a unique online Event Group for post-event networking. Everyone is also given an attendee sheet with the details of every company and their representatives. Non-members always welcome.

Attendees are drawn from a range of sectors and sizes of companies, from professionals and creatives, directors and managers, large corporates and SMEs, all looking to network over a glass of wine with a friendly crowd of interested contacts.

Our host venue for our January networking evening is the newly reopened The Spectator, London. Just a short walk from St Paul's, The Spectator is the perfect location for a beautiful bar and restaurant, on the edge of the City, the Barbican and historic Smithfield's market! 

Upstairs is a welcoming pub like bar with comfy sofas, real ales and great food. Downstairs is a fantastic private function room with private bar and AV equipment for presentations and meetings.

At our networking event in The Spectator's private downstairs space,  you will receive a warm welcome, two complimentary drinks - wine, real ale or soft drink - and nibbles courtesy of the venue.

The networking event starts at 6pm and Urbano's MD Mark Herring will welcome you with a glass of wine and help you find interesting contacts within the roomful of business owners, directors, partners, senior managers and entrepreneurs.

Urbano evenings are famously relaxed and the conversations friendly and natural. The mix is diverse and 'selling' is frowned upon. No rapid-fire two-minute mini-presentations or stiff handshakes as you rush around the room.

Urbano's unique online networking toolkit means you don't have to speak to everyone in the room. You will always stay connected online through the event group (even non-members) and so you can network at your own pace and with those you would like to chat to.

Each Urbano event has a unique online Event Group where the profiles of everyone who attends are showcased, allowing you to make renew connections well after the event has finished and ensure you need never worry again about losing a business card! These profiles are accessed through your own Dashboard, found by logging in using the top link once you have booked. For large evening events, these are pr-published so you can see who is attending before you arrive in the room! No-one is a stranger with Urbano!

The price quoted on the actual payment page (usually £28 - £45) is the price relevant for you and the events your company has attended. Non-members companies are allowed to attend up to three networking events.
