London networking event - Urbano Media networking evening featuring Mark Goodier

Our next Urbano Media networking event is a networking evening taking place in London on Wednesday October 8th and featuring guest speaker Mark Goodier, ex Radio 1 DJ and founder/director of Wise Buddah (see details below).

Urbano Media events are aimed primarily but not exclusively at those in the creative sectors, such as advertising, branding, marketing, film, TV, visual and graphic, web and design industries - and those who supply these sectors or just interested in the speaker, the theme, or networking through Urbano.

Urbano Media has its own calendar of diverse events, usually in the evenings in and around Soho and the West End or Shoreditch, usually in a bar or near alcohol, and they are usually lively, fun and informative.

About our speaker
Mark Goodier is Founder & Director IMGR Wise Buddah and one of the UK's most respected broadcasters and recognised voices on British radio with a career spanning 25 years.

Mark is perhaps best known for presenting the Official UK Top 40 on Radio 1 for over 10 years until he left the station in 2002.

Mark founded Wise Buddah in 1994 as a radio production company and it has now grown into an independent Content, Talent, Music, and Post Production business for the Audio and Video production world, supplying Talent, Commercial Music, Audio post production, and strategically driven TV, Radio and Digital content for broadcasters and brands all over the world.

Mark will talk about how he grew his business into the success it is today, the lessons he has learned and also look at how the sector has changed and is changing in a new poly-channel and increasingly online world.
