London networking event - Urbano Finance networking breakfast featuring Modwenna Rees-Mogg

Urbano Network hosts a varied calendar of weekly London networking events, including networking lunches, evening events and speaker breakfasts held under one or more Urbano Communities. This event is held as part of our Urbano Finance & Business calendar of events.

Urbano Finance networking events give company directors and entrepreneurs a chance to meet and connect with potential investors and lenders to find finance, lending, advice, information, support and new avenues to finance. It also encourages those who advise companies and those who own them to meet in a relaxed and informal atmosphere to develop working associations and alliances.

About our speaker:

Our guest speaker for this networking event is Modwenna Rees-Mogg, founder of Angel News, a web portal and publication that covers growth companies, funding and investment. Modwenna also runs VCR, an online directory of angel investment, capital funding and private equity.

Modwenna will be looking at the central themes in her new book, Dragons or Angels. A must for anyone looking to find investment for their company or backing for their idea, the event promises invaluable advice to anyone considering approaching a business angel. From the first pitch and valuing your business, through to signing a deal and understanding how much an angel will want to be involved.
