London networking event - Urbano Build networking breakfast with Jackie Sadek, of UK Regeneration

Urbano Build is a programme of regular networking events in London aimed at architects, developers, property investors, designers, interior designers and other professionals associated with the built environment sector to make connections, gather information, create associations and find new business opportunities.

Urbano Build breakfast events are stripped down conferences, exploring interesting themes and built around great speakers, where the the focus is on networking and creating connections and opportunities. You always meet a diverse range of businesses and their representatives in a lively session of informal but facilitated networking.

Previous speakers have included Jane Duncan (new RIBA President), Casey Rutland (ARUP Group BIM Lead), Ed Green (Cabinet Office Procurement), Loyd Grossman, Kevin McCloud, Wayne Hemingway, Stephen Hodder (RIBA President 2013-15), Mark Bew and David Philp of the Government's BIM Implementation team, The Minister for Architecture, the Chairs of CABE and BURA, Martha Schwartz (landscape architect), Theis + Khan and Jackie Sadek, CEO of UK Regeneration.

This event is also timed the week before MIPIM UK and will bring together those who have booked to attend MIPIM, have an interest in the sector and the usual diverse audience from across the sector that Urbano Build attracts.

About our guest speaker, Jackie Sadek

Jackie Sadek is Chief Executive of UK Regeneration. Jackie started her career in regeneration at the London Docklands Development Corporation before joining Stanhope plc, where she worked on projects including Broadgate and Kings Cross.

She has lead a number of large scale projects in the public and private sectors, notably Kent Thameside and Park Royal, before serving as Head of Regeneration for CB Richard Ellis.
 
Jackie has more than 20 years' experience in development, managing large-scale urban regeneration projects and public-private sector partnerships.

Jackie will be looking at trends in urban regeneration and working with the market, covering topics such as inward investment, MIPIM, the impact of devolution and local growth and how regeneration can meet the housing challenge.

8:00am – Registration, coffee, pastries and networking

8:30am – Presentation by Jackie, followed by Q&A
