Urbano People networking breakfast event

Urbano People's next business networking breakfast takes place on Wednesday February 29th at 8am at De Vere West One.

Urbano breakfast events feature great speakers and bring together those in connected sectors to enjoy stimulating discussions, and brilliant but informal networking.

Urbano events are proven catalysts for the development of connections, the facilitation of introductions between companies and individuals, the sharing of best practice and a gateway to new business opportunities.

Urbano People events are for companies and individuals with a specific interest in the worlds of HR, recruitment, training, development and staff management. Non-members are welcome at any Urbano event.

Our special guest speaker is Graham Snowdon, Editor of The Guardian's Work and Graduate supplements and current HR Journalist of the Year.

Graham is a highly experienced writer and editor with specialisms in sports, lifestyle and employment journalism.

Since becoming editor of the Guardian's Work supplement in 2009, his writing has won national recognition. Graham was awarded HR Journalist of the Year for pieces which included an analysis of work hours and salaries, his trial of a combined nursery and shared business space to combat childcare problems, and how graduates can beat unemployment by applying for jobs overseas.

Graham will give his perspective on the future outlook and changing shape of careers and employment.

Format

8:00am – Registration, coffee and pastries, networking

8:20am – Presentation by Graham Snowdon

8:45am – Q&A

9:00am – Informal and facilitated networking

Book-ending Graham's presentation there will be plenty of time to meet all the other attendees, network and share information, news, opinions and new business opportunities.
