Please join us for our 2014 flagship Pitching for Management™ event in London on 10th September 2014 at 6.00pm to 9.30pm at the offices of Nabarro LLP.

In a new move to increase the focus on the importance of teams in ambitious businesses, come and debate with VCs, business angels and entreprenurs about how to adapt the team post-funding.

We will also have four companies telling you about their big management challenges and asking for your help in solving them.

If you can solve one or more of the challenges you will be rewarded with the opportunity to join the company and take it forwards.  You may be paid a remuneration package based on salary and perks and for the lucky few you will be awarded a stake in the company in return for your efforts.

If you want to make a big change in your life to a better way of working - this is the event for you.

This series will look at adapting the team post-investment and in London will feature:

  1. Charles Cameron, Joint Managing Partner at Cameron Barney. Charles has over 20 years experience in investment banking and has worked as a CEO and an asset manager
  2. John Finnemore, Senior Associate at Nabarro. John specialises in venture capital transactions, acting for both funds and investee companies on those deals which include seed, Series A and later stage investments as well as exits.
  3. Jonathan Gittos, Founder and Managing Director at Socialglue. Jonathan founded his first start up 12 years ago and it became one of the UKs fastest growing businesses which was then sold to its main competitior in the US.

As well as the panel debate, four entrepreneurial companies will be pitching to build their management teams, with opportunities including:

1. Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope (LSCM) Business seeks a Chief Operating Officer.

2. Digital marketing and sales manager required for London based early stage ad-tech startup which has been spun out from a successful rich media marketing company.

3. We are looking for an Entrepreneurial Software marketeer to help and influence a London-based early stage business with a mission to get more foreign languages into more museums and visitor attractions all over the world.
