Retail Finance Forum event

THURSDAY 29TH FEBRUARY at COOPER PARRY’S SKY VIEW OFFICE – 9.30AM – 2.30PM 

Following on from the success of our autumn event, we’re teaming up again with Halfords for our next Retail Finance Forum. It’s an opportunity for finance professionals from some of the UK’s biggest retailers to get together and talk about the hot issues affecting them.  

This forum is going to be slightly different. We’re mixing it up and changing the format with two exciting guest speaker slots.  

• The Financial Reporting Council (FRC)’s Corporate Reporting Review team are coming along to get attendees input into their planned and focused thematic work on the retail sector. They want to hear about the accounting issues that retailers may be struggling with which may warrant further research and analysis by their team.
   
• BDO’s UK SOX team, who are currently working on projects for large retailers, will also be attending. They’ll give us insight into their approach and how they advise on best practice for UK SOX and internal controls for their clients. One of which is a very well-known high street sports retail brand. 

After a tasty lunch there’ll be the ever-popular round table discussion. Providing finance leads in the retail sector an opportunity to get together for an informal collaborative roundtable event. Full of content and useful insight.
