Tim's varied career started over 30 years' ago when he qualified as an accountant with BDO Stoy Hayward. He left there to specialise in Corporate Tax with Chantrey Vellacott where he qualified as a Chartered Tax adviser before starting his own accountancy practice based in London. He became CEO of Watford Football Club in 2000, where he stayed for 3 ½ years before becoming CEO of Sports and Entertainment Media Group.

He subsequently ran Rays of Sunshine Children's charity of which he remains a Trustee and was both a Founder Trustee of Watford FC's Community Sports & Education Trust, and a trustee of the Watford Palace Theatre. He has also invested in a variety of small and medium sized companies, using his experience to help them grow. He is also a director of Central & Metropolitan Estates Limited, a property investment company.

Tim is the head of our Not For Profit, Sports & Entertainment and Transport sector groups, and works closely with growing businesses. Having worked in both private practice and the commercial world, Tim is well placed to advise clients on the variety of issues that they face.

Tim lives in Northwood with his family and enjoys sports, theatre, travel and learning to play the piano. If Tim wasn't an accountant, he'd be a professional footballer.
