We are delighted that GCS Recruitment Specialists have invited Kate Marks of EvolutionHR to speak alongside Piers Leigh-Politt and Dan Begbie-Clench of Doyle Clayton, at a series of HR seminars, this time focusing on ‘The Impact of Social Media at Work’. There will be two opportunities to experience this unique look at social media.

The first will be on Wednesday 7 October at Millennium Madejski Hotel, Reading, from 9:00am to 10:30am.  And the second on Tuesday 20 October at Corney & Barrow, Paternoster Square, London EC4.

  • Kate will explore the benefits of HR truly integrating with social media and the challenges this causes. Kate will also discuss how to strike the right balance when implementing a social media policy.

 • Piers and Dan will be highlighting the different procedures and practical measures that can be put into place when dealing with issues such as bullying, harassment and discrimination that arise through social media. Dan will also discuss the role social media plays within data security and the benefits and pitfalls of using social media to screen potential candidates.
