Please join me and Sally de la Bedoyere, chief executive of Blue Cross. for the Room Upstairs lunch on 31st March at Browns, Covent Garden.

Sally will be speaking about the cultural challenges, some bizarre, that she has faced moving from one sector to another.

For much of her career, Sally has been heading up organisations and teams that are at the heart of our national life and psyche. She experienced her first change in culture 12 years ago, when she moved from the commercial sector, working with Associated Newspapers for 17 years, which culminated in becoming Managing Director of The Evening Standard, to the public sector as CEO of consumer research organisation, RAJA.

In 2010, Sally moved sectors again, from the public sector to the not-for-profit, when she became the RSPCA's first Director of  Income Generation. And today she is CEO of the Blue Cross, one of Britain's oldest animal welfare charities.

Who better then to talk about the cultural challenges that one faces when crossing from one sector to another!
