Autumn Budget Breakfast

The UK Government will announce their plan to repair the country’s public finances on 17 November 2022 in their “Autumn 2022 Budget”.  This is when Jeremy Hunt, the UK’s new Chancellor, will make his first “Budget” speech.

We invite you to join our tax experts, Victor Dauppe and Nigel May, at our 30 City Road office from 8.30am on 22 November 2022 for our “Review of the Autumn Budget” Breakfast Seminar.

We are expecting this “Budget” announcement to be action packed.  However, we never really know what will be announced until the Chancellor stands to make his statement. Regardless of what is or is not announced on 17 November during this session we will also take a look at:

• Corporation tax at 25% – how do small company profits work.
• NI increase has been reversed but not dividend tax – how does this impact on taking money out of companies.
• Impact of increased interest rates on different sectors – buy to lets especially.
• Impact high inflation from a tax perspective.
• The ongoing importance of business structure from a planning perspective.
