Managing employee absence can be a real challenge.  There's the desire to demonstrate a degree of compassion and understanding but there's a significant impact on businesses when employees take a lot of time off sick.  There's then the added complexity of whether a condition is classed as a disability or not and what your responsibilities are in this situation.
