About London Capital Club

The London Capital Club is one of the City's most established private member's clubs.

Join us at the London Capital Club for an engrossing evening with two of the world’s leading experts in Russian and European Security and International Diplomacy as we discuss one of the most important questions facing the world today- Should the West Fear Russia?

Our guest speakers will be Sir Tony Brenton KCMG, former British Ambassador to Russia, and Jon Lough, Chatham House and Oxford Fellow and VP of Garbara Strategies.

Both of our speakers bring formidable experience and insight to the table.

Sir Tony, besides many years liaising with the Russian Government on behalf of the UK, also has experience with the UN, working on the Rio Earth summit and helping found the International Criminal Court. He is a fellow of Wolfson College, Cambridge.

John Lough has represented NATO in Moscow, advised Russian oil giant TNK-BP, lectured on Soviet Studies at Sandhurst, and continues his academic work with the Institute for Statecraft at Oxford University.

The evening will begin with drinks at 6.30pm, followed by a debate and questions from 7.00-8.30pm.

Tickets are only £25 and will include complimentary pre-talk drinks.
