The Chancellor has published proposed legislation to control the way partnerships are taxed. In this seminar we will look at the proposed legislation and how it will affect Property Partnerships, including the future use of Corporate Members and Corporate Service Companies.

Speaker: Martin Muirhead

Martin is head of the Kingston Smith Property sector group. He covers corporate and personal taxation and general business advice for businesses, as well as audit and accountancy. In doing so, he works with limited companies, PLCs, partnerships, individuals and foreign commercial organisations ranging up to £40m turnover.

Martin is a member of the Academy of Experts and is involved in litigation support, expert witness and forensic accounting appointments. He was appointed the first ever Receiver by the Charity Commissioners under the Charities Act 1993. Corporate finance activities include acting for purchasers, vendors and carrying out business valuations. 

Martin is also a member of Kingston Smith's Executive Board.
