Italian Wine Tasting Evening

Join us for an evening of Italian wine tasting, with a focus on the wines of Piemonte, Lombardy & Trentino Alto-Adige. Arguably one of the most important regions for quality in Italy is Piemonte as it houses wines such as Barolo, Barberesco, Gavi and Asti with key wonderful grape varieties such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, Cortese and Dolcetto. In addition there are up-and-coming wines from the regions next-door such as Lombardy where Nebbiolo also flourishes and Trentino Alto-Adige where there are aromatic whites and vibrant reds such as Lagrein and Teroldego.

This tasting is designed to explore the diverse variety of wines available from Italy produced from their fascinating indigenous grape varieties most of which are only found within Italy.

All our tastings are suitable for all levels of experience, so even if you have never tasted wine before we will soon have you sipping like a pro!

All tastings include; minimum of 6 wines sourced locally so you can find them easily if you like them, full tasting notes, tasting sheet, use of professional tastings glasses and nibbles. The tasting will last for approximately 2 hours.
