Hoare Lea is a highly successful, award-winning firm of consulting engineers, specialising in mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP)

Started life studying Architecture at university, after working as a CAD technician and talking to friends who had entered engineering I knew that my future would follow a different path. I then went on to do a HNC in Construction & the Built Environment and started working on site as an Assistant M&E Design Manager, where I discovered the term BIM this shaped and changed my career forever.   

Within the past year i've seen significant growth within the BIM environment, encouraging the engineers to adopted digital technology has been my most challenging project within the London office.

As more and more clients seek projects in BIM, I’ve been trying new ways of working without compromising on the quality, profitability and making the complex simple with the introduction of Model Managers that will help address the shortfall of experienced BIM Coordinators (Digital Engineers) and improve on modelling production within in-house training/support in a cost-effective way.

I’m not really an athletic person but I do work out because of my personal commitment to stay healthy and strong. In the past couple of years, I’ve added snowboarding to my physical pursuits to simply give me a change from the routine.
