Proudlock work primarily with architects, building control inspectors and property developers on disability aspects of building regulations (that's Part M, BS8300). 

Proudlock access audit buildings so companies can learn more about the barriers they have that may exclude disabled people.  Our audits show how barriers can be removed to enable companies to comply with the building regulations and the Equality Act 2010.  We also develop Access Management Plans (strategic documents working across an organisation to ensure inclusion).

Proudlock can review plans prior to submission to planning authorities.  We can improve the quality of design and iron out problems so planning applications are not needlessly delayed. 

Proudlock specialise in LifeTime Homes and wheelchair housing.  All of our consultants are on the National Register of Access Consultants.

Finally, Proudlock Associates write PEEPS (Personal Emergency Egress Plans) to make sure disabled and mobility impaired people can get a speedy exit from a building in an emergency.
