Dumitrel Rada - Brand Story

Dumitrel Rada Photography was born in February 2011 to capture stories, not just photos. And Dumitrel has done just that. Nine months later he has opened his own studio and is stopping time for people all over London.

From the meagre age of four Dumitrel knew that creativity was in his bones. It wasn’t until he was married and jetting off on his honeymoon that he invested in his very first DSLR camera. He hasn’t looked back since.

Having been a DJ for a number of high profile events in Milan, he could see for himself the importance of the story behind the brand. He wanted to be the one to help create this for clients and so he began his journey of becoming a photography expert. To him it wasn’t just about taking a good photo; it was about taking a spectacular photo that connects with people.

After attending the workshops of other inspirational photographers, he decided to launch his own workshop, to help mentor upcoming photographers. His first one was promoted by leading photography brands as Nikon, GraphiStudio, Eizo, MPA, Phottix which helped to generate more interest than he could imagine. He now hosts regular workshops to not only share his knowledge with others but to challenge himself constantly.

Over the last year, Dumitrel has captured the moments (and the hearts) of his clients. From weddings and family photo shoots, through to fashion and architecture projects, each and every job is treated with care and consideration from start to finish. Having a natural way with people enables him to bring out the best in those he is photographing, whilst making them feel like a million dollars at the same time.
