My expertise is in property disputes including contentious landlord and tenant (both residential and commercial), advising landlords, tenants, developers and investors on a wide range of areas.

These include rent and service charge recovery, forfeiture and possession claims, contested lease renewals and a variety of breaches of leasehold covenants including dilapidations and service charge disputes, applications for consent and other issues arising out of the terms of a lease.

I also advise on boundary disputes, rights of way, rights of light, party wall awards and real estate related professional negligence claims, rectification and misrepresentation claims, specific performance and real estate related insolvency. I also advise on contested probate disputes including Inheritance Act claims and proprietary estoppel.

I have considerable experience in ADR including mediation, adjudication and expert determination and I was a former contributor of the Landlord and Tenant Factbook.
