Marion's bio:
Marion Marincat is the founder of the Hearing Wellness Initiative and a Group Facilitator for the WHO World Hearing Forum, dedicated to reshaping how we engage with sound in everyday life. His mission stems from personal experience with profound hearing loss, driving his passion for creating audio-inclusive environments that balance sound, silence, and sensory wellbeing.
An entrepreneur with a global perspective, Marion has led ambitious projects, from launching a pioneering solar panel factory at 22 to spearheading a £100m biogas plant in the UK. He has also represented the UK at the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Summit in Argentina and Japan, showcasing his leadership in sustainable innovation.
Marion launched the first Hearing Wellness Festival concept in 2022, partnering with Sofar Sounds, the Olympic Park, and East London venues to explore the intersection of sound, culture, and accessibility. Now, through the Sownd Affects Festival, he is building on this vision—creating a movement that blends music, art, and immersive experiences to redefine how we listen, connect, and thrive in urban spaces.
