That Hungry Chef was born in 2011 as a means for me (Pratap Chahal, Chef& founder) to ramble about restaurants, markets, food and drink whilst on my year’s sabbatical, travelling and eating around the world; it was an alter-ego that shared foodie experiences with other people through blogging.

It wasn’t until 2013 when I met my future wife that I decided to leave behind the world of Michelin restaurants. That Hungry Chef turned into a brand, a blank canvas for my creative madness, in the form of artisanal food products.

Influenced by my travels around the world, combined with an Indian heritage and experience in some of London’s favourite restaurant, these products are a way of sharing my stories with foodies all over the world. All the products are handmade to exacting standards using the finest British produce where available. After all, if I’m not addicted to them, I can’t expect you to be either!

In addition to all the various handmade products, my wife and I host regular supper clubs in North London, with food inspired from my travels and the vast & varied cuisine of India. The menu’s change every month and the supper clubs are the perfect way to meet new people, catch up with old friends and most importantly, enjoy great cooking. We also offer bespoke catering for personal and private events, and can even come to your home to cook for you and your friends, or take care of the food for a function you may be hosting.
