About Jennifer

Jennifer Smith established Smith Jenkins in 2012 after working at Hepher Dixon and Savills.

She has worked on a wide variety of schemes from individual houses to large-scale complex projects across a range of sectors. She has specific experience in working with the public sector to deliver projects, having led successful teams on schools, education and other public sector buildings.

Jennifer has particular expertise in co-ordinating complex planning applications on behalf of contractors, designed to enable a timely start on site to ensure that the project meets specific programme deadlines.

Jennifer actively works alongside a wide range of architectural practices. She has a good knowledge of current planning legislation, including design policies. She works actively across the home counties regions.

As a result she regularly works in Green Belt and countryside locations, as well as in New Towns, and more traditional urban settings.

Recent projects include: Dacorum Borough Council Civic Centre Regeneration, Hemel Hempstead; new primary school for Bucks County at Kingsbrook, Aylesbury; combined school for Milton Keynes Council at Glebe Farm; redevelopment of affordable housing scheme for B3 Living, Broxbourne; Delivery of Motorsport Campus, Red Bull Racing, Milton Keynes; Bective Works redevelopment, Kingsbrook; and Grand Union Housing Association affordable scheme, Ampthill.
